If you're confused about what to eat and feel like you're getting nowhere with your workout program, that the treadmill is holding you hostage from living your best life, you're not alone. Millions of people around the world struggle every single day with their weight, energy levels, sleep and overall wellbeing. I understand that you're frustrated. I'm Ixchel (sounds like ee-shell). I've been there and I'm here to help.
If you're finally ready to break free from food or sugar addiction and crave more energy and vitality — without spending hours at the gym every week — then you've come to the right place. The WildFit 90 Challenge isn't a quick and temporary fix to help you squeeze into your holiday outfit or bikini (although you will love how you look!). WildFit will shift the way you feel about food and give you concrete tools you can use for the rest of your life. Here's an introduction to Eric Edmeades, the Co-Founder of WildFit:
Inspired by the Paleo diet (many vegans and vegetarians enjoy living WildFit too), WildFit is founded on what humans are supposed to eat based on our history of hunters and gatherers living in the wild. Sound complicated? It's actually pretty simple, it's what worked for your ancestors to ensure you are alive today, in this moment, and that's why it works.
Carefully designed with daily videos by our founder Eric Edmeades (bio below), the WildFit 90 Challenge takes you on a 12 Week Journey of self-discovery and personal growth while you learn powerful tools to help you transform your relationship with food, forever.
I'm a Mindvalley April 2017 WildFit graduate and Certified WildFit Coach. I was coached and trained by Eric Edmeades.
The approach you choose depends on your personal coaching needs and how much attentiveness you want in coaching your health goals. Do you want to be coached along side thousands of participants, a small group of a dozen, go at your own pace, or get coached one to one? My Self-Study and 1 to 1 Coaching packages are offered below right now... Or get on our Waitlist for our next Small Group Challenge starting soon (limited to 12 people)!
Anyone can create short-term changes in their eating habits. That’s not what WildFit 90 does. This is a system for sustainable health and lifestyle transformation. Here’s an overview of what the 13-week process looks like:
We begin at the beginning: shifting your food mindset and eating behaviors. Week 1 teaches you why you crave certain foods and hate others. If you’re an emotional eater, you’ll get huge insights here.
Eric Edmeades is an accomplished entrepreneur, author and the architect of several highly effective and transformational seminars, workshops and retreats around the world. However, his intersection with the health and fitness industry was an accidental one.
Suffering for most of his teens and early 20’s with severe allergies, sinus troubles, throat infections and acne, he was only weeks away from a surgery to take out his tonsils when a friend of his urged him to attend a personal transformation seminar. That seminar ended up not only clearing up 10 years of chronic symptoms but it changed everything he believed about health and food.
Since then it has been his life’s passion to help people wake up to the reality that, in terms of health, they are off course. That the human and financial cost of our current way of life is far too great.
His years of research studying the San People (Hazda of Tanzania) and their “human diet” — the diet that us humans are meant to be on — led him to develop the WildFit Challenge, a step-by-step system to quickly transition people to this revolutionary way of looking at health and fitness.
As a community organizer and former politician, I’ve mentored disadvantaged communities to get involved for over 20 years. But, with today's challenges, showing up is harder and harder. Especially when we haven't been showing up for ourselves.
There was a time I was significantly overweight, depressed and stuck. I covered my mirrors so I didn't have to see myself. It cost me years of turning down invitations and missing out on the dance in life.
But I began making changes, growing my own food and THEN, through Eric Edmeades's brilliant program, something just clicked! I learned how to feed myself, truly nourish myself with WildFit.
I released the weight, kept it off and my fog and depression lifted. At 47, I’m living life comfortably in my body now, feeling better than ever. I'm looking younger than ever too! I'm living WildFit and I can show you how to do it. In these difficult times we need YOU TO BE READY to serve your purpose now more than ever.
It's clear to me, I found significant life-saving gains that came with addressing my nutrition, including eliminating a chronic systemic candida inflection that I had struggled with most of my life. If it weren't for WildFit, I would have never felt well enough, or confident enough to finally visit the land of my ancestors at the ancient pyramids Tikal, Guatemala (where I now lead annual retreats).
After unknowingly struggling with celiac, I’ve tried over a dozen weight loss and nutrition diets with little to no lasting results. This struggle kept me from being fully present to the ecological work I have been engaged in since I was a young teen. Health was elusive.
None of these "diets" got to the core of my problem: a life-long sugar addiction. WildFit's structured program of becoming mindful to behavioral patterns utilizing behavioral psychology along with supportive coaching shows the underlying patterns of emotional eating, allowing you to break free from the patterns that create unhealthy food choices.
I integrated WildFit into my shamanic coaching practice because so many people are facing such enormous health challenges that keep them from doing good work in the world. An ancestral diet is key to maintaining the luminous Light Body and supporting our mitochondria. WildFit builds the physical resilience we need to face our future challenges. I'm here for you. Let’s chat.
Ixchel is a very un-usual person. As a coach, she’s extremely knowledgeable, while still relatable and real. She listens, cares and helps grow. As a collaborator, Ixchel is very technically proficient, yet profoundly human and warm. There’s no occasion for which she doesn’t have a valuable tool or approach. Her generosity is awe inspiring. She’s open about her personal journey and how she overcame specific challenges. She truly is a modern medicine woman and collaborating with her has been a wonderful experience.
This Challenge gave me focus on expanding my thoughts on how to follow a practice outside of my normal routine and habits. I’ve learned how to eat with more intention with knowledge of how certain foods affect metabolism of stored fat. In place is Ixchel's daily practice of breathing exercises, my key to reduce stress.
What a great experience taking the WildFit challenge! My goals going into the challenge were to start cooking for myself as I NEVER used to, incorporate healthier foods into my diet, and lose the 5-10 pounds I gained after moving across the country last year. With Ixchel's guidance through the program I was able to meet all of my goals and I’m so happy with my relationship to healthy foods and cooking now!

I continue to have remarkable success even after the WildFit program has ended. That for me was the true test of the effectiveness of this program.
Eric Edmeades and his dedicated team have created an easy and very thorough journey to sustainable healthy eating and living practices. Not only did I lose and keep off unwanted weight, I have experienced an amazing increase in energy and aliveness.
This is not just a program, it is a welcome and satisfying approach to living. Like most people, I knew what to eat and what to avoid to be healthier but, again like most people, I wasn’t doing it consistently. WildFit didn’t just provide me with more rules, it changed my thinking. It was easy and effective.
WildFit is a very effective health program that can help you not only become fit; it is a program to recover your energy and joy. I did it and loved it. Above all it gave me something that is very precious to me: “freedom”. Freedom to choose health and to live according to the way my body really needs. Other things work in the short term, but WildFit changed the way I think and gave me the tools to stay healthy, happy and fit for the rest of my life.
I always knew the importance of eating well and taking care of my body but for some reason I simply wasn’t doing it. I tried various diets and programs but it was not until WildFit that I really turned things around.
Today I am more flexible than I have been in years, I feel much younger and WildFit made the process really easy and long-lasting; I will never go back to the way things were.

Hi! I'm Ixchel (sounds like ee-shell). I know all too well what it means to fly too close to the sun and burnout because of it: I was the first in my family to go to college (while also a single mom), I was the first Latina to serve as Vice Mayor of Petaluma, California, I’ve run for Congress and I’ve mentored other women who were running for office or running their own business . . . I know what happens when we go go go and I know what’s possible when we take 15 minutes a day (or less!) to breathe, pause and reflect.
Which is why I also have 35 years of training in consciousness exploration, meditation, self-development and intuitive-based action and I bring it all to my work with change-making women leaders.
I also hold a Permaculture Design Certificate, an M.A. from the California Institute of Integral Studies (with a focus on Integral Ecology) and a B.A. in Women’s Studies from Mills College. PLUS, I was a 2007 Fellow of the Leadership Institute for Just and Resilient Communities.Which means: I have developed a keen sense for understanding interconnectedness. I view the world, our bodies and our Work as ecologies. I can help you address imbalances in your life, body or leadership capabilities from this integrative and interconnected point of view.
My zone of genius is at the intersection of: plant-based and ancestral diets, Kundalini Yoga, plant medicine and ritual, feminism, political consciousness and Mayan Cosmology. When you work with me, I bring you to this intersection through intuitive-listening, deep experience and practical wisdom.
